Selection Process – UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025

  1. Preliminary Examination (Prelims): Two objective-type papers — GS Paper I (200 marks) and CSAT Paper II (200 marks qualifying). Held on 25 May 2025. Result: 11 June 2025.
  2. Main Examination (Mains): Nine papers over 10 days — 22 to 31 August 2025. Includes essay, GS Papers I–IV, optional papers (Paper I & II), and language papers (qualifying). Mains result: 12 November 2025.
