Important Instructions for JEE Main Session 2 Exam Day

  • Arrive 30–45 Minutes Early: JEE Main centres have strict entry protocols — biometric verification, document checking, and frisking take time. Arriving late means missing entry.
  • Verify Centre Location in Advance: Check your exam centre address on Google Maps today itself. Plan your travel route. If you are appearing at a centre in an unfamiliar city, reach there the evening before.
  • Check Your Exam Date: The JEE Main April session runs from 02 to 09 April 2026. Your specific date and shift are mentioned on your admit card — do not confuse them.
  • Carry Original ID: A valid original photo ID is mandatory alongside the admit card. Both are required for entry.
  • No Electronic Devices: Leave everything in your bag or vehicle. Mobile phones are strictly not allowed even in pockets.
  • Don’t Open New Topics: In the last 1–2 days before the exam, revise key formulas, important reactions, and problem-solving strategies. Avoid attempting completely new topics — it increases anxiety and reduces confidence.
  • Contact NTA for Errors: If there is any discrepancy in your admit card, contact the NTA helpline at nta.ac.in immediately — do not wait until exam day.
